行星轮渗碳淬火齿面裂纹的原因分析

Analysis of Tooth Surface Cracks in Carburized and Quenched Planetary Gears

  • 摘要: 采煤机用行星轮渗碳淬火后产生裂纹,因裂纹位于齿面且深度较深造成产品报废,为分析行星轮失效原因,从原材料、热处理工艺、显微组织、晶粒尺寸以及裂纹宏观、微观形态特征等方面进行了分析探讨。结果表明,行星轮所用材料化学成分符合18Cr2Ni4WA钢标准,其裂纹是典型的沿晶开裂的淬火裂纹,其产生的主要原因与淬火应力有关。通过热处理工艺改进,热处理过程控制,后续未再发现齿面裂纹产生。

     

    Abstract: A certain coal mining machine's planetary gear developed cracks after carburizing and quenching, resulting in product scrap due to the deep location and depth of the cracks. To analyze the failure cause of the planetary gear, we conducted an analysis and discussion on the raw materials, heat treatment process, microstructure, grain size, as well as the macro and micro features of the cracks. The results show that the chemical composition of the material used for the planetary gear meets the standard of 18Cr2Ni4WA steel. The cracks are typical quenching cracks along grain boundaries, and their main cause is related to quenching stress. Through improvement of the heat treatment process and control of the heat treatment process, no tooth surface cracks have been found subsequently.
