Abstract:
In this paper, the inner ring of bearing of G13Cr4Mo4Ni4V steel was carburized, and the effects of different heat treatment temperatures on the hardness, carburized layer depth, retained austenite content, dimensional stability and microstructure of the inner ring were studied. The results show that G13Cr4Mo4Ni4V steel has good carburizing characteristics. Compared with ordinary carburized bearing steel, it can get good carburizing performance under the condition of low carburizing carbon potential. After secondary quenching at 1090℃ + three high-temperature tempering + two cold treatments, the inner ring was inspected by removing 0.30mm of surface grinding. It was found that the surface hardness of the inner ring was above 62HRC, the center hardness was about 44HRC, the depth of carburized layer was about 1.40mm. The carburized surface structure was fine martensite + residual carbide + a small amount of retained austenite, the center structure was lath martensite. And the content of retained austenite was not more than 5%. All technical indexes of bearing inner ring meet the product design requirements.
