Abstract:
Artificial intelligence (AI)-empowered talent cultivation has become an important direction for educational reform in universities, demonstrating great potential in reshaping teaching models, optimizing resource allocation, and improving educational effectiveness. In response to current problems in talent cultivation for the port and shipping engineering discipline, such as insufficient rigor in data handling, inadequate development of teaching elements, and the impact of information cocoons on decision-making. This paper proposes AI-empowered course teaching development as the key entry point. It systematically constructs a vertically integrated undergraduate–graduate cultivation model, explores a cultivation mechanism that integrates research–innovation–teaching, facilitates the translation of research outcomes into teaching content, and builds an industry–education collaborative cultivation system. These efforts aim to comprehensively improve the quality of innovative talent cultivation for additive manufacturing in port and shipping engineering discipline, enhance talent competitiveness in port and shipping engineering industry, and provide strong support for strong shipping nation strategy and maritime power strategy.
