Analysis and Prevention of Typical Manufacturing Defects of A286 Fasteners

  • A286 is a kind of Fe-Cr-Ni superalloys, which has excellent comprehensive mechanical properties and is widely used in aerospace field. It is one of the commonly used materials for fasteners with high temperature resistance, high strength and fatigue resistance. Based on the failure mode and probability of fasteners in service, this paper introduces the typical defects of A286 fasteners, such as overheating, deformed coarse grain, alloy dilution and thread cracking, etc., comprehensively analyzes the root causes of defects, and formulates corresponding preventive measures, which can provide reference for the formulation and optimization of A286 fastener technology and promote the quality improvement of A286 fasteners.
