Key Technologies in the Process Development of Laser-Arc Hybrid Welding Production Lines

  • In the shipbuilding manufacturing industry, traditional welding methods present multiple challenges. The adoption of laser-arc hybrid welding enables high-quality and efficient production. Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. has introduced a laser-arc hybrid welding production line capable of performing various manufacturing tasks including laser hybrid butt welding and laser hybrid fillet welding. During the operation of the laser-arc hybrid welding production line, targeted solutions were developed through extensive practical research to address issues such as undercut, excessive weld reinforcement, spot defects, and excessive hardness values in butt welding, as well as lack of fusion and porosity in fillet welding. These solutions provide valuable experience and technical references for subsequent production.
