Effectiveness analysis and improvement approach of welding operation simulation system

  • Based on literature review, use of the systems and comparison between the systems and real welding, and in the view of their basic functions, the realization of simulated welding operation training, this essay is to analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of welding operation simulation systems of domestic and foreign brands on market, basing on their basic functions. Results show that although current welding operation simulation systems can initially realize welding operation training in virtual environment, but effects are limited, and problems exist: such as simulation distortion, inaccurate evaluation, low effectiveness and low effectiveness-cost ratio. At the end of this essay, suggestions for improvements are put forward according to the shortcomings of current welding operation simulation systems.
