Numerical simulation and optimization of nitriding process for 32Cr3MoVE steel internal spline

  • This article examines the simulation research related to nitriding treatment, explicitly focusing on the numerical theoretical analysis of 32Cr3MoVE steel during the nitriding process. The results indicate that the insulation time significantly impacts the nitriding effect, while the nitriding temperature has a minimal effect. The optimal process identified is nitriding for 20 hours at a temperature of 540℃.
