Abstract
Fused Deposition Modeling(FDM)stands out as one of the most widely utilized technologies in the field of Additive Manufacturing(AM).Commonly employed for the fabrication of parts with intricate geometries,FDM finds extensive applications in aerospace, automotive, maritime, biomedical, and various other industries. However, limitations such as inadequate mechanical performance and low manufacturing quality have constrained the application of parts printed using FDM technology.Optimization of process parameters can significantly mitigate defects during the printing process, and the Taguchi Method excels in optimizing these parameters for FDM printing. This paper comprehensively reviews the Taguchi Method's optimization of process parameters in FDM,considering surface quality, mechanical performance, and material consumption.Additionally,it provides a prospective analysis of potential future applications, offering direction for further research in this domain.
