Discuss on flame straightening process in boiler manufacturing

This paper presents the methods and precautions of flame straightening process for boiler header parts in the manufacturing due to bending deformation caused by uneven welding and thermal cycling,compares the provisions and guiding clauses of flame straightening in boiler industry standards and steel structure fabrication standards at home and abroad,and considers that flame straightening may have adverse effects on material properties,and suggests that the boiler industry should standardize it.
