Research on Optimization of Welding Process for Small sized Fuel Pipe of Engine

  • To solve the issues of low welding efficiency and unstable weld quality in manual welding of small-sized fuel pipes for engines, research on optimizing the process parameters of robot arc welding technology for small-sized fuel pipes is conducted. Based on the Design of Experiments (DOE) method, experiments were conducted on the process parameters of arc welding to obtain the optimal process parameters. The optimal solution was a welding speed of 42cm/min, wire feeding speed of 8.5m/min, corrected arc length of -2, and initial current of 120A. The research results in the paper has certain guiding significance for the production and manufacturing of small-sized fuel pipes.
