Research on welding process of autonomous new austenitic heat resistant steel SP2215

  • The self-developed new austenitic heat-resistant steel SP2215 has good high-temperature endurance strength and good corrosion/oxidation resistance, which is highly likely to replace HR3C heat-resistant steel.This article studied the hot wire TIG welding process of SP2215, and found that the mechanical properties of the welded joints made of the same or different materials are good. The high-temperature endurance strength of the welded joints made of the selected welding wires for SP2215 is comparable to that of the base material, providing welding technical support for the use of SP2215 in superheaters and reheaters in power plant boilers, and facilitating reference for boiler welding technicians.
