Quasi-static and dynamic compression properties of selective laser melted AlSi10Mg aluminum alloy lattice materials

  • The preparation technology of aluminum alloy lattice materials using Selective Laser Melting(SLM)was explored in the study. By adjusting the laser power and scanning rate, the BCC-type AlSi10Mg lattice structure was successfully fabricated. The effects of SLM process parameters and heat treatment on the static and dynamic compressive properties of aluminum alloy lattice structures were systematically investigated. The experimental results indicated that the AlSi10Mg lattice structure prepared by SLM technology exhibited good formability. Its compressive properties were significantly enhanced with an increase in laser power and demonstrated a notable strain rate strengthening effect. The incorporation of resin filling further augmented the impact resistance of the aluminum alloy lattice structure and reduced the strain rate sensitivity associated with structural defects. This provides support for the application of this structure in engineering fields such as cushioning protection, impact resistance, and lightweight explosion-proof devices.
