Teaching innovation and exploration of the course “Innovative practice in welding engineering for college students” based on the teaching-competition integration mode

  • This article summarizes the main content of the implementation process of the teaching innovation project for the course “Innovative practice in welding engineering for college students” based on the teaching-competition integration model. Guided by the principle of “Three-wide Education”, this project aims to achieve the goals of educational innovation by implementing innovative teaching methods integrating classroom competitions, immersive multimedia instruction, and campus pre-selection competitions for the National College Student Welding Innovation Contest. These efforts seek to enhance undergraduate students’ understanding and interest in welding science and engineering, promote the overall development of students’ comprehensive qualities, and advance the development of the welding science and engineering profession.
