Research on Resistance Spot Welding Automation Unit Based on Complex Titanium Alloy Parts

  • Titanium alloys show great potential for aerospace applications because of their remarkable advantages, and automated resistance welding provides a way to bonding large-scale structures. The research developed a spot welding unit to guarante the stability and repetitiveness in welding process. In this study, we designed the adaptive welded pliers suitable for product welding to ensure the adaptability of the product size, and the position of the welded joints was simulated. The results showed that the product size was suitable, the welding test film of weld forming and performance was excellent.
