Abstract
A study on the sealing welding process between palladium alloy tube bundles and stainless steel flanges in a densely arranged palladium alloy diffusion chamber was conducted using pre-brazed palladium alloy tube transition joints and pulsed laser welding method. Through the observation of the welded joint and the gas tightness test analysis, the main welding process parameters such as laser welding power, defocusing amount, pulse frequency, pulse width, welding speed, etc. were determined. The formal sample has met the requirements for the use of a palladium diffusion device for hydrogen purification and separation through gas tightness testing and helium mass spectrometry leak detection. It is confirmed that laser beam welding technology can be popularized and applied to batch welding production of dense array tube bundles in palladium alloy diffusion chamber.
