Cause analysis and preventive measures of fracture of oversize bearing inner ring

The fracture of inner ring occurs in the process of bearing installation, the cause of the failure was analyzed by means of macro-examination, fracture analysis, chemical composition analysis, metallographic examination, material and heat treatment quality testing. The results show that the inner ring of the bearing has a partial forging overburn defect, and the bearing breaks along the defect during installation.
