Failure analysis of bearing outer ring

  • 摘要: 采用场发射扫描电镜观察、洛氏硬度检测、能谱分析及化学成分分析等方法,对轴承外圈进行断口分析,判断断口的断裂形式.结果表明:轴承外圈的洛氏硬度高于标准值,化学成分符合要求,断口具有脆性断裂特征,因此推断轴承外圈在外部应力的作用下发生脆性断裂.

     

    Abstract: In this paper,field emission scanning electron microscope(SEM),Rockwell hardness test,energy spectrum analysis(EDS),chemical composition test and other detection methods are used to analyze the fracture of the bearing outer ring,and judge the fracture form.The results show that the Rockwell hardness of the bearing outer ring is higher than the standard value,the chemical composition meets the requirements,and the fracture has the characteristics of brittle fracture,so it is inferred that the bearing outer ring has brittle fracture under the action of external stress.
