Abstract: Based on the analysis of the application status of welding technical standard in rail transportation industry,the establishment and practice of welding technical standard system were discussed. The main standards in domestic and abroad related to rail vehicle welding production were sorted out to provide a welding technical standard system framework and a standard text database. A list of standards to be developed or revised is clarified. Through the application of the welding technical standard system, the level of welding technicians and welding enterprises is constantly improved, and the quality of rail vehicle products is improved.
