Abstract:
The microstructure and mechanical properties of A286 alloy after solution heat treatment at 982℃ for 1 hour and water cooling+720℃ aging heat treatment for 17 hours were studied using a CMT-5000 universal testing machine, energy dispersive X-ray spectrometer(EDS), scanning electron microscope(SEM), and modern X-ray diffractometer(XRD). The results showed that the A286 alloy after heat treatment exhibited good mechanical properties. The tensile strength is 1027MPa, the yield strength is 746MPa, the elongation after fracture is 37.5%,and the reduction in area is 42%. The performance indicate that A286 alloy can meet the requirements of high-end industrial applications after appropriate heat treatment.
