Abstract:
This study aims to explore the physical and chemical properties of larger GCr15 bearing steel tapered rollers, providing reference for material selection of bearing parts and expanding the application of GCr15 bearing steel. Through the study of the physical and chemical properties of GCr15 bearing steel tapered rollers, it was found that the surface microstructure, surface hardness, and core microstructure of the tapered roller with an effective diameter of 35mm meet the recommended standard requirements. The radial size of the area with a core hardness lower than the recommended standard value of 59HRC accounts for 25.37%, and the axial size accounts for 39.37%.Among them, the radial size of the area with a hardness lower than 58HRC accounts for 12.11%, and the axial size accounts for 23.36%. To meet the recommended value requirements of the standard, GCr15 bearing steel tapered rollers can be selected and applied with dimensions up to an effective diameter of 26.12mm; To meet the quenching value requirements, GCr15 bearing steel tapered rollers can be selected and applied to an effective diameter of 30.76mm. On the premise of meeting the usage requirements, users and manufacturers can negotiate to determine a larger size application to achieve a good performance price ratio.
