激光选区熔化成形Al-Mg-Sc合金与O态5A06板材TIG焊工艺研究

Process research for selective laser melting formed Al-Mg-Sc alloy and 5A06 alloy with O heat treatment sheet TIG welding

  • 摘要: 以5B71合金焊丝为填充材料,采用钨极惰性气体保护(TIG)焊接工艺对1.2mm厚激光选区熔化(Selective Laser Melting,SLM)成形Al-Mg-Sc合金与O态5A06试板进行焊接,对焊接接头的O态显微组织演变及细化特征进行研究。结果表明:采用合理的TIG焊接参数焊接的SLM熔化成形A1-Mg-Sc与O态5A06试板,焊缝正面靠近表面位置和焊接接头熔合线位置,分布着数量较多的气孔,最大直径达0.2mm,焊接接头SLM成形Al-Mg-Sc合金一侧熔合线附近的气孔夹渣数量和尺寸大小均大于母材及5A06试板一侧。焊缝中Sc和Zr微合金元素改善了组织晶粒大小,为等轴晶;熔池过冷区晶粒尺寸更加细密,形成超细晶区,晶粒平均大小以20μm为主。而熔池中其他区域,焊缝区晶粒以40~50μm大小的等轴晶为主。焊缝断口面气孔密集,未发现明显的剪切唇,存在明显韧窝组织,部分韧窝内发现强化相颗粒,呈现脆韧性复合断裂形貌。

     

    Abstract: A selective laser melting formed Al-Mg-Sc alloy sheet and 5A06 with O heat treatment sheet with the thickness of 1.2mm were welded by tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding with 5B71 filler wire. The microstructure evolution and refinement characteristics of the welded joints were investigated. The results showed that a large number of pores with the diameter of 0.2mm distributed near the front surface of the weld zone and the fusion line of the SLM Al-Mg-Sc and 5A06 with O heat treatment sheet weld sample with appropriate TIG welding parameters.The number and size of pores and inclusions near the fusion line of SLM side were larger than that of 5A06 side and base metals in the welded joint. The microstructure of weld zone was equiaxed grains, which was optimized by the micro-alloying elements of Sc and Zr. The subcooled zone of molten pool was ultrafine grain region composed of the average finer grain with a diameter of about 20μm. Meanwhile, the other zones of molten pool mainly consisted of equiaxed grains with a diameter of 40~50μm. It was found that some concentrated pores, no shear lip and some dimples were present on the surface of fracture sample. Furthermore, some strengthening phases were observed in the dimples. It was indicated that the fracture mode was brittle-ductile mixed.
