基于Procast数值模拟的阀壳零件砂型铸造工艺优化研究

Research on the Optimization of Sand Casting Process for Valve Shell Parts Based on Procast Numerical Simulation

  • 摘要: 本文针对阀壳零件的砂型铸造设计了不同的铸造工艺,采用ProCAST模拟软件对不同工艺进行模拟,并根据模拟结果对工艺进一步优化,以得到最优的铸造工艺。研究结果表明,侧立中注式浇注系统相比于直立顶注式浇注系统充型更快、更平稳,铸件缺陷更少。在侧立中注式浇注系统的基础上,通过在顶部增加三个冒口和底部增加6块冷铁几乎可以消除铸件内全部缺陷,从而提高了铸件质量。

     

    Abstract: In this study, various casting processes were designed for the sand casting of valve housing components. ProCAST simulation software was employed to simulate these different processes, which were further optimized based on the simulation results to obtain the optimal casting process. The research results indicate that compared with the upright top-feeding gating system, the side-up middle-feeding gating system achieves faster and more stable filling, with fewer casting defects. On the basis of the side-up middle-feeding gating system, nearly all internal defects in the castings can be eliminated by adding three risers at the top and six chill plates at the bottom, thereby enhancing the casting quality.
