Abstract: With the mature application of 1000MW power plant boilers, higher parameter boilers have not been developed and applied due to material limitations. Boiler manufacturers have turned to competition for manufacturing cost control. Welding, as a key core technology in boiler manufacturing, is increasingly favored by boiler manufacturers for the application of new welding technologies. This article briefly elaborates on the current status of intelligent welding applied to components such as boiler headers, membrane walls, and serpentine tubes,and looks forward to the future development of intelligent welding for boilers, in order to be helpful to personnel related to boiler welding.
