Abstract:
Cable wire is an innovative welding material, cable wire submerged arc welding has the outstanding advantages of high deposition speed and energy saving. The submerged arc welding experiments were carried out on Q355C steel using cable wire and single wire under different currents and voltages, and the energy efficiency performance of different welding wires was compared, and the advantages of large deposition rate and low energy consumption of cable wire were analyzed from the dry elongation of the welding wire, the resistance heat of the welding wire, the surface tension of the molten droplet, and the rotation force of the welding wire, It is concluded that the comprehensive power consumption of cable wire is 20% lower than the single wire. So as to lay a foundation for the popularization and application of submerged arc welding of the cable welding wire in the manufacturing industry.
