Process optimization for vacuum heat treatment of GCr15 steel piston

  • 摘要: 某型号随动活塞材料为GCr15钢,零件最厚处约20mm,经真空油淬后,在硬度检测时出现软点等缺陷。为此对原始组织、加热时表面状态、淬火冷却介质冷却能力及操作过程等可能导致淬火后出现软点问题进行逐一分析,最终确认淬火后出现软点的主要原因是工艺方法欠佳而导致的,如:装炉方式不当、真空淬火时油表面压力较小等。改进工艺后,盲孔朝上装炉、淬火油表面压力调整至1kPa以上,则活塞件重新淬火后表面硬度的均匀性分布较好。

     

    Abstract: The following piston material of some models is GCr15 steel, the thickest part of the part next to 20mm.The soft point appears in the hardness test after vacuum oil quenching. Therefore, the original tissue, the surface state during heating, the cooling capacity of the quenching medium and the operation process may lead to the soft points after the quenching are analyzed one by one. The main reasons for the soft points after the quenching are inappropriate methods, such as improper furnace loading method, and insufficient oil surface pressure during vacuum quenching, etc. After the improved process, the surface pressure of the blind hole confronts the furnace and the quenching oil is adjusted to above 1kPa, and the surface hardness of the piston is distributed uniform after requenching.
