上横臂锻造成形模拟及工艺优化

Simulation and process optimization of forging formation for the upper lateral arm

  • 摘要: 钢质上横臂是某越野车的关键承力部件,该产品截面变化大、形状较复杂,存在不容易锻造的开叉、高筋。采用Deform-3D软件进行锻造成形模拟研究,在现有22000t压力机生产线进行锻造试制。模拟表明:采用制坯-模锻的工艺成形良好,试制得到的锻件充型饱满,但切边后锻件凸耳变形(向外侧张开),通过夹钳工装校正凸耳,得到形状、尺寸、性能良好的上横臂锻件。

     

    Abstract: The steel upper lateral arm is a critical load-bearing component of off-road vehicles. This part features significant cross-sectional variations and a complex geometry, including forked sections and high ribs that pose challenges for forging. To address these challenges, Deform-3D software was utilized to simulate the forging process, followed by forging trials on an existing 22000-ton press production line. Simulation results indicate that the blanking-die forging process yields excellent forming outcomes. While the trial-produced forged parts were fully formed, their lugs exhibited outward deformation after trimming. Subsequently, the lugs were corrected using clamp tooling, resulting in upper lateral arm forged parts with satisfactory shape, dimensions, and performance.
