Abstract:
Based on the structural characteristics and technical requirements of the large aluminum alloy gearbox box castings used in the high-speed railway of Fuxing, resin sand molding and low-pressure pouring method were adopted. Through the reasonable design of the pouring system, riser, chill, and low-pressure pouring process, combined with the optimization analysis of CAE simulation technology, the defects were successfully solved. The aluminum alloy gearbox box with good mechanical properties and high internal and external quality has been developed, which can meet the needs of power concentrated high-speed train operation at a speed of 160 kilometers per hour.
